As a performer, I have had the privilege of playing with Jimmy Cobb, Milt Hinton, Ran Blake, Arnie Lawrence, Ricky Ford, Lew Soloff, and countless others. My groups continue to tour internationally, with our last tour of Europe including dates in England, France, Italy, Spain, and Germany. As a clinician, I have run children’s education programs through The Central New York Society for New Music, The Central New York Jazz Orchestra, The NYC Board of Education, and Columbia’s Teacher’s College. As a tenured faculty member at WI, I direct two concert bands, wind ensemble, and stage band. The program includes 180 students. I teach our 812 General Music Class. I continue to run all A/V equipment as well as sound and lighting design for our school’s joint venture with Tarrytown YMCA’s drama program.
